Looking for something outside the ordinary to do? Why not enjoy a camel ride along Cable Beach? Cable Beach Camels have been operating for 25 years, offering fun camel rides to visitors. You'll be seated on the back of a camel while it walks along the beach, enjoying the scenery in a gorgeous setting. Cable Beach Camels offers two types of rides: A pre-Sunset Ride, which is a little easier on the bank, or a Sunset Ride, where you will watch the sun sink over the sea while on the back of a beautiful creature. Gantheaume Point is a natural wonder featuring golden sandy beaches contrasted with red cliffs and bright blue waters. Not only is this a breathtaking location to explore, but the appeal of Gantheaume Point doesn't stop there. When visiting this destination, you can also walk in the footsteps of actual dinosaurs. Preserved in the reef rock for over 125 million years are footprints of long-extinct dinosaurs and some plant fossils. You'll need to visit at low tide to see them, but if you come when the tide is high, there are plaster casts of the footprints at the top of the cliff.
