If you're a water sports enthusiast or want to get your adrenaline flowing, Penrith Whitewater Stadium is your activity. The stadium is 320 metres long and drops 5.5m features along its length, and there are a whopping 14,000 litres per second of whitewater gushing through the artificial river.
The stadium was initially built for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games but is today open to the public, who can try their hand at whitewater rafting, slalom training, recreational paddling, and kayaking.
