Cedar Creek Falls
A short drive from Proserpine will get you to Cedar Creek Falls, the largest waterfall in the area that cascades into calm waters below. Pack your bathers because this natural pool is safe to swim in and a great spot to cool off in the heat. During the wet season, there are stunning white cedar trees to see and an array of wildlife, including colourful butterflies, fish and turtles in the waterhole. The best time of year to visit is during the wet season, as this is when the falls are their best, and the greenery is thriving. Book in a lesson with a coach who can teach you how to drive, chip and putt successfully. When you make it onto the course, you'll be rewarded with beautiful scenery, starting with tree-lined fairways on the front 9-holes and sugar cane-lined fairways on the back 9-holes. If you want to know your swing speed, carry distance, and other stats, head to the simulator, where you can gain insight into your swing and improve your game.
Proserpine Historical Museum
Pop into the Proserpine Historical Museum to learn about the history of Proserpine, from its first people, the Juru, Gia, Bira and Ngaro people, to the European settlers and its history as a sugar cane and cattle town. The museum is home to an extensive collection of artefacts, insightful printed material and photographs to browse through, and there is the option to join a guided tour to learn more from an expert.
Explore the Great Barrier Reef

Mountain bike through the rough and rugged terrain, hike through the ancient rainforest and see the valleys and creeks up close. Water Activities at Lake Proserpine
Spend a few days and camp lakeside at Lake Proserpine or glamp in a luxury tent with breathtaking mountain and lake views. Enjoy a range of activities and watersports at the lake, starting with stand-up paddle boards, kayaking and wakeboarding across the vast lake. While the lake offers incredible picturesque views, one of the main attractions at Lake Proserpine is fishing. Lake Proserpine is known for being home to over 1m long monster barramundi, which can be caught all year round. There are also plenty of crabs and freshwater crayfish to be caught, too and an onsite barbecue to cook up your catch.

If you're after an adrenaline rush, then this one's for you. Skydive over Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays in an experience like no other. What better place to experience the thrill of skydiving than over stunning turquoise waters? Enjoy the beautiful views on the plane ride up, then freefall for up to 60 seconds and feel the rush from the jump. From there is smooth sailing as you glide down and take in the picturesque ride down over the beautiful landscapes of Airlie Beach and the surrounding areas.
