Take the Cascades Walk

Start your morning off on the right foot with a walk in the rainforests of Macquarie Pass, in particular, the Cascades walk. This stunning trek will take you through the lush forest, following the babbling brook to the glorious cascades. The path is relatively flat, with plenty of shade, and it takes about 45 minutes to complete the 2 km return circuit. The kids will love getting into the lovely rainforest terrain and admiring the enchanting falls that tumble in the pool below. This spectacular location is home to lyrebirds, platypus and goannas as well as some native flora. Be sure to keep an eye out for any wildlife sightings, and bring binoculars to glimpse life up in the treetops. The Cascades walk is a pleasant way to begin your day in an oasis.

Learn About Aviation at the HARS Aviation Museum

If you love aircrafts and all things aviation, head to the HARS Aviation Museum, a museum run by volunteer Aviation Professionals and enthusiasts located right in Albion Park. There is a diverse range of aircraft for visitors to see, including the likes of De Havilland DH-82 Tiger Moth, Consolidated PBY-6A Catalina, Bell AH-1 Huey Cobra, GAMD (GAF) Mirage IO and much more. Learn about some of your favourite aircrafts from a knowledgeable guide on one of the tours. The tours on offer include a B747 Wing Walk, where you can walk on the aircraft's wing; a B747 Cockpit Tour, where the pilot will take you through procedures; a B747 Premium Tour hosted by former professionals, including a pilot, engineer and cabin crew; Tarmac Days tour which explores some of the static aircrafts and allows visitors to view inside; and of course a guided tour of the museum and its displays.

What better way to spend a warm day than at the beach? And in a place as beautiful as Albion Park, you're spoilt for choice with magnificent beaches all along the coast. Pack your sunscreen and a book, and get ready for a sensational day at the beach. The region has so many amazing beachside spots to pick from, including spots like Jones Beach, a surfing paradise. Jump into the swell and surf the waves at the beach's northern end. For swimmers, the southern end offers a more protected zone from waves. And, while you're there, check out Cathedral Rocks, which is recognised by its towering basalt formations that make for a remarkable photo. Other notable beaches in the area to check out are Boneyard Beach, Minnamurra Beach and Gerringong Beach.

C1 Speed Indoor Karting & Laser Tag
